There should be a "Best Seattle Movies" feature. We had Chronicle and... 10 Things I Hate About You had scenes in Seattle, and.... People like Sleepless in Seattle, right? DAMN WASHINGTON. Lower your tax rates so we can have more movies.

That was a good list. I thought "Ghostbusters" is not gonna show up anymore...didn't expect it to be first, but well deserved, a great first place! There's two movies I missed on the list: "A Bronx Tale" was pretty good and deserves to be in the Top 50. And even Eddie Murphy has done lots of turkeys lately his movie "Coming To America" should be here (even to story was stolen).

Goodfellas? I remember Die hard with a Vengeance had a good trailer when it came out. BOOM!

Was getting thought the list thinking "they CAN'T have left out Ghostbusters surely???" so I applaud you for making it #1. Me and the other half got engaged there a few months back so this brings back a few memories. Glad to see Avengers on there as well - some classic NYC scenes (Thor on the Chrysler, Thor and Hulk battling in Grand Central). And Spidey too. Great list.

Good number #1 - one of two films I think of when I think of NY. But where was Elf? Surely one of the most New York-y films ever? It was certainly the main reason I went to the Big Apple a few December's ago. Think about it - Empire State Building, Central Park, Rockefeller Center and all feature prominently (not forgetting the Lincoln Tunnel, Ray's Pizza, the semi-fictional Gimbels). Great film and deifnitely more of a New York film than many of the entries on this list.

Um... where is 'The Fisher King'? Did I miss it?!? Also, there are some really cool shots of Central Park in 'Léon' and 'Almost Famous'...

Gangs of New York only 49? What the hell? And there should have been mentions for The Basketball Diaries, Annie Hall and The Wackness.
