So what you're saying is that Spiderman 3 sucked?

Interesting choices. I'm a little disappointed by there being literally no mention of the excellent Spectacular Spider-Man animated series, and the snide remarks about Spider-Man 3 got really old after a while.

@jamiefiori Not really meant to be snide, just interesting to note same ideas and themes done better elsewhere.

I can't believe they left out the run of Web of Spiderman when he came to London and Belfast and fought the IRA! http://chriswrites.net/2011/05/03/spider-man-takes-on-the-ira/

Spiderman 3 did suck, it was weighed down by an abundance of under-written major characters,. You had Green Goblin mark #2 (proto-Hobgoblin?) , Venom, Sandman not forgetting Gwen Stacy and a still-not-transformed Dr Conors. Plus the excruciating emo-Parker. None of the streamline narrative of Spidey 2. They should have just had Parker fight Conors / Lizard. It would have been a more emotionally charged movie.

Nothing with the clones at all? Not even a Ben Reilly/Scarlet Spider reference? The panel of Osborn coming out of the building holding the battered body right before he drops him from the air onto a car was quite a moment. Also no mention of the small Torment arc with the Lizard. The cover with Spider-Man in the web by todd mcfarlane was pretty iconic. Think this was weighed down with way too many film references personally =/

Christ, we get it! You don't like the third movie. How many times do you need to say it?

I'm not a fan of the 3rd film at all, it was utter garbage, but if you didn't like it as much as you claimed why include any scenes from it at all ? . I'm actually not a fan of the first two of Raimi's films either mainly because Maguire was so utterly terrible as both Parker and Spidey. Defoe was a Power Rangers villain in the first one and for some reason the director had Spidey take off his Mask every chance he got so we had to look at Maguires retarded expressions while he tried to "act" They werent Spider-Man movies they were Sam Raimi's Spiderman... Shame on you for not including more scenes from the new movie, Like say Marin Sheens excelent performace as Uncle Ben which blows Cliff Robertsons turn out of the water. And Also Emma Stone actually turning in a better performance as the love interest next to Dallas Howard and Dunst combined.
