Some I wouldn't touch here...they're great just the way they are. Like: "Don't Look Now", "Scanners" and "Rosemary's Baby". On the other hand I would enjoy a remake of "Basket Case" with better FX and more gore. And I would definitely watch a remake of "Christine" ... hopefully a bit closer to the book....but just DON'T change the cars make and model.

Not only M, but also Terror Train already got remade. It was called Train and starred Thora Birch in the JLC-part.

Night of the Creeps sounds alot like Slither with slug creatures from space turning people into flesh-eating zombie types. In my opinion Slither was one of the finest horror comedies of recent years; a most underatted must watch film with Nathan Fillion on fine form.

The remake machine just needs to STOP. Aren't there any NEW ideas left in Hollywood? (The answer to that is YES, but the problem, of course, is that the studios know that the viewers will watch any c**p they shovel out. Thus why they just keep putting out these dumbed-down remakes of older horror films.)

And, the reason some of these movies are revered is because of their schlocky charm. Any attempt to remake some of them with CGI used instead of doing the effects practically (in-camera) would be a dishonor and a slap in the face of their source material. My wife got me into B-grade horror, and we actually attend a Drive-in/Grindhouse/B-movie era film convention/expo here in the USA, in Strongsville, Ohio, called Cinema Wasteland. Because of our attendance of that show, I've seen a good deal of the movies on this list. I shudder at the thought of any of them being remade, because the remakes, like so many already before, would be cinematic dog-mess.

Enough with the remakes but staying on topic, how about a remake for Clive Barkers Night Breed?

Not an official remake, but Jess Franco has done the "Eyes Without a Face" thing several times.

A thousand times NOPE to many of these, especially Braindead and The Beyond. Those are classics. Leave them alone.

are you sure its a good idea mentioning all these old films, some idiot might actually not have thought of remaking some of these, and by mentioning them we are giving hollywood ideas, when they should be making new films, not remakes.
