      Life of Brian: have you actually watched the film? It's about BRIAN. So it's him on the cross at the end, the whole thing has nothing to do with Jesus whatsoever, just the ignorance of the Jews at the time more than anything :P

      I'm surprised Starship Troopers isn't up there. Paul Verhoven got away with so much anti-American subtext, I'm surprised they didn't ban it.

      Love a film that stirs up a bit of controversy (and gets Daily Mail readers in a tizz!) Cannibal Holocaust was sickening but was a decent film. I like to think myself pretty unshockable but that film succeeded.

      I'm surprised that Flowers of Flesh and Blood wasn't there considering Charlie Sheen reported it to the FBI as a snuff film. In fact, most of the Guinea Pig series would make the list.
