I found the scene (at least at the end) in "Little Miss Sunshine" actually sweet. The whole family supporting the girl....that was awesome! In "My Best Friends Wedding" I found the Karaoke scene with C. Diaz a lot more embarassing. But fun list....and it looks like Ben Stiller and the "American Pie" - series could fill a list of 50 by themselves.

There were two teachers dating at my school, a drama teacher and a math teacher. The drama teacher rented a private cinema, took her to it and 10 Things I Hate About You was playing because it was her favourite film. He waited until the Heath Ledger scene came on, started singing and dancing round the cinema and then proposed to her! True story! Again, cringey but definitely an interesting engagement story. They ended up with their picture in the paper bless them.

The doctor he makes fun of in Funny People is the same actor as played Karl in Die Hard, Hans Gruber's second in command and definitely NOT a Bond villain. This from a movie site?

When I think of embarrassing moments in movies, the couch scene in "She's Out of My League" comes to mind, lol!! Not just that scene but during the following scene on the beach, Kirk (played by Jay Baruchel) gives Molly (a girl he is smitten with), with her best friend in ear-shot, a cringe-worth explanation about why he had to make a sudden departure after her parents' impromptu visit which has Molly and her friend laughing at him, furthering his embarrassment. Kirk runs away, humiliated, only stopping to give his buddies a good tongue-lashing about the horrible advice he was given -- until Molly (with some prodding from her female friend) decides that his honesty was very noble and that he was worth pursuing.
