Shia LaBeouf endeared himself to nobody (including, apparently, Harrison Ford)... Really? I've never heard that... Is there a link anywhere? as I'm interested to know more about that.

Gunnery Sergeant Hartman should be motivational speaker - the man is legendary. Thank god for The Frighteners and Spongebob for keeping the dream alive.

"Is it Jar Jar's dubious Caribbean patois? Or his gormless infantilism? Or the fact that we all walked into The Phantom Menace with sky-high hopes and George Lucas gave us this?" You're the ones who gave the first prequel 4/5, Total Film.

Great choice to put Forrest Gump in there. That movie is a disgrace. But... where is Chad from "in the Company of Men"!? Surely a top 10 candidate!

In Me Myself & Irene it's actually Hank (Charlie's split persona) who is the offensive one, not Charlie.

I would like to add Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut for (almost) killing off the X-men franchise and Summer from 500 days of Summer, never wanted to punch a woman so much...with the front end of a truck.

Oh and the cast of Juno, mostly for the fact none of the characters SPEAK LIKE HUMAN BEINGS. Its like listening to some Dawsonese soundbite generator, and this won an Oscar for the screenwriter? Then again, so did the writer of Batman and Robin for a John Nash biopic that bore no resemblance to the truth.

This list doesn't really make sense : on the one hand you have characters that are INTENTIONALLY offensive and on the other hand you have characters that seem offensive because they're the most reviled performances in movies. Those are only offensive because they're RAZZIE material but they're not supposed to be offensive. It's not the same thing... A list of intentionally offensive characters would be funnier and Eric Cartman should be n°1... On the list of performances you just don't like because they're terrible, where's Halle Berry's Catwoman? And where is Ken Jeong in anything he's done these last three years?

I'm in agreement with Toursiveu. The list should either be intentionally offensive characters, or characters which the audience just ended up hating (like Jar Jar Binks). That said, I have no idea what Luc Besson was trying to achieve with 'Ruby Rod' in The Fifth Element. Was he intentionally annoying, or was that all down to Chris Tucker "annoying f***er" ? How he never made this list, let alone the top 3 I do not know! I also agree that Eric Cartman and Tommy DeVito should be in there, and I'll add my own to the top of the list – Don Logan from Sexy Beast.

Mel "Braveheart" Gibson. They never wore blue paint - that was the ancient Brits south of the border BC! The French Princess stupidly says, "Zeez Eeengleeshmen, know nozzing about lerv ..." Firstly, her husband, to whom she is referring, was FRENCHMAN (who never spoke a word of English) and secondly, she should have been a virgin! A troublemaking Wally of film - I even hate Gibson's face now.

Stewarts performance is bad and she should feel bad. - But to say that she "is a thinly veiled plea for good girls to abstain from sex before marriage" is just wrong, she actually plays the role of the one that does want to have sex before marriage. Which actually just makes her performance worse and (to people who read the book) offensive as hell!! Offensive character? NO! Offensive actress? VERY MUCH INDEED!!

I'd like to point out that EVERYTHING was offensive in "Batman and Robin". Batgirl was a vapid bimbo, Clooney was the Sh*ts as Batman, Anald as Mr. Freeze? Nuff said. Even poor Bane was made into a bumbling growling idiot. But you said plenty by adding O'Donnle's stupid a** in here.
