Private Pyle does not kill himself with a shotgun, he kills himself with a M14 rifle.

I you were going to include a JAWS death, it should have been Quint's. To this day, I can't watch that movie without feeling uneasy during that scene. It's just horrifying and I thought it would be number 1.

No Quint Jaws death? That's the one which sticks with me, not the crappy opening death.

I would have included the sledgehammer kill, when we first meet Leatherface - when that metal door slams shut, its chilling. Also, the Fire Extinguisher kill in Irreversible deserves a mention - camera doesnt shy away at any point. To be fair, this list could have been the 500 most unforgettable movie deaths!!

Also, The Edge. When the dude gets eaten by the bear... if you don't s**t your pants you're a psychopath.

Haven't checked out the list itself, since it's called "most unforgettable". Now, even though that phrase is perfectly understandable, I do seem to remember that "unforgettable" is one of the words like "unique", in that there are no degrees of comparison such as "unique, more unique and most unique" - even if Michael Bay once promised that the Transformers in the second or third movie would be "really unique"...

Boba did not die in the Sarlacc Pit. He conversed with a jedi, set off an explosive and crawled out of it.

The REALLY INTENSE part of the infamous scene of "Alien" is the fact that NONE of the actors knew what was going to happen. They were told how the scene was going to play out, but didn't know how the Alien was going to come out. The shock on their faces is 100% REAL. Veronica Cartwright (Lambert) said in a documentary how she was so caught off guard that she ended up falling on her butt. PRICELESS.

I'd put the breakfast scene from Martyrs on here too. Sure we know she's pretty damaged from her previous experiences, but up until a certain point we have no idea that those experiences actually happened and for all we know she's the villain.
