    Any item of 'tech' would have ruined Alive, like a fully functioning helicopter or a satillite phone with GPS or the snow cat from the Shining.. Fast Food is essentially just food and food isn't really tech now is it?

    It's actually an interesting point on how filmmaking has to change along with technology and how it takes away quite a few filming freedoms... Just like in horror films now, where in every single one they have to find an excuse to get rid of everyones mobile phone. The Alive one doesn't work, but the Braveheart one made me laugh.

    Yes, pointless feauture. Lets just use it as a platform for asking as to the whereabouts of the recently pulled LOTR feature. Was the writer in fear of being killed? Or did TF realise it was a poorly contructed argument? The TF mag is great, but your website.....mmm......not so much.

    Before Sunrise would have been much less heartbreaking if they could just text each other or add each other on Facebook. Considering the movie was made in 1995, 17 years ago, we've come a long way in terms of technology and maybe lost the mystery and excitement of romance. That was pretty deep for a comment on here wasn't it? lol

    Literally one of the worst articles I have ever read. Half of these things aren't technologies, most of them wouldn't ruin the film, and this just seems to be a random list off IMDB that someone has struggled to find something to say about rather than fifty films that fit the brief. Sort it out.

    #35 MP3's have been around since the early 90's. The film is set in the late 90's. So MP3's did not ruin this film.

    Why the the usual revisionist hate for Braveheart? The historical innacuracies are well documented, but surely it doesn't turn an internationaly successful, oscar winning, inspirational and iconic movie into a "steaming pile of horse s**t?" Ths "story" tells the story of a thoroughly evil English King attempts to unsuceesfuly conquer Scotland, any speculation on the nationality of the individual who wrote this piece?.....and yes I am Scottish
