Nice list, but I'm a bit surprised to see that the exchange between Clive Owen and Julia Roberts from Closer makes no appearance. That is a dialogue worthy of the top ten for sure.

Sexy Beast and True Romance...ace. Surely you could've made room for the Wayne/Falcone face-off in Batman Begins. Wilkinson tells a wannabe superhero to F-off in such an elegant way. And Taken for the now classic one-sided argument where Neeson calmly lets the kidnapper know how he is going to spend his vacation.

38 in Bruges, she doesn't yell it from off camera and he makes up with his wife before he goes

Yeah exactly, he apologises and it's all ok. And 47.. it's Harry Andrews playing RSM Wilson. Did you get Alex Zane to proof read the list? :)

How's about Steve Martin and John Candy in Trains, Planes & Automobiles when they first have to share a hotel room together. Constant bickering throughout but they come through in the end with a heart-felt warmth that similar, modern films (like Due Date) lack.

Oh, and with Crimson Tide and True Romance being can i just say how sorry i am to hear about Tony Scott. He could always do fiesty exchanges of dialogue rather well (Will Smith and Gene Hackman in Enemy of the State also spring to mind).

Social Network should be on here, surely. I totally agree with Blue Valentine & Sexy beast though. Also, no KILL LIST included? The Jay v. Shel arguments at the the beginning, and the Jay v. Gal arguments in the middle were incredibly tense and volatile.

Some of these aren't that nasty just humorous, so I am going to add 'Lion vs Tuna' from The Other Guys.

Totally agree with jxhartley. How could you leave out that brilliant argument between Clive Owen and Julia Roberts in Closer?

How could you leave out the American History X dinner scene when theyre talking about how Rodney King deserved what he got, or in Erin Brokovich when Erin goes off for like 5 minutes straight on a PG&E lawyer. Sexy beast, there will be blood and 12 angry men scenes were my favourite!

Intresting list but clearly more about humor than actual nasty fights. Among the list of left out arguments any number of fights from Boondock Saints would work. s****h, Cube, and others also have noteworthy fights. Everyone will disagree on which works and which doesn't
