Hey, do you even follow the Oscar news? Seriously, who doesn't know "The Artist", "Oslo, August 31st" and "Snow Flower And The Secret Fan" are NOT submitted to Oscars for consideration in Foreign Language Film category? The silent film "The Artist" is not even eligible in this category, because it can't be considered a "foreign language" film. So far, "A Separation" is the one and only front-runner in this category among the ones that has been submitted. Sorry man, but you screwed up big time! And I totally lost my faith in totalfilm.com for putting up such an amateurish list. It's totally disastarous!

Surprised to not see Ezra Miller on this list for Best Supporting Actor. We Need to Talk About Kevin was about the mother but 'Kevin' stole the whole movie.

I think TF have a good list but it ain't realistic. Remember Avatar (or Avat**t as I like to call it) was nominated in tons of categories. You really think We Need To Talk About Kevin is in for a chance of best picture with that sort of thinking behind the Oscars? What about Drive for best picture? It's a shame that nothing that has come out this year (perhaps with the exception of Drive) comes close to feeling like a classic when remembering the likes of Lawrence Of Arabia, The Deer Hunter, Unforgiven, Rain Man etc etc Nothing has felt particularly fresh or epic which is why it'll be a rather forgettable Oscar night in my opinion.

How can Immortals be on this list, but Harry Potter is snubbed (again)?

#anyonebutdiablocody. No doubt Stephen Daldrey will get a nod, he's always brown-nosing for an Oscar.

You seem to have forgotten Nick Nolte's great supporting performance in Warrior.

Hugo got "lukewarm reviews?" 94% on the Tomatometer and numerous nominations is considered "lukewarm"? I'd be astonished if it doesn't receive a Best Picture nomination. Also, what about a Visual Effects nomination? Or for Harry Potter for that matter?
