Shia la Boeuf in almost everything. Transformers 3 was not just hampered by Huntington-Whitelys blowup doll impersonation, but LaBoeuf going "ARGHH! ARGHH" ARGHH!" in every scene, no doubt reflecting the audiences inner voice. I say 'almost' because he was very good in 'A guide to recognizing your saints' and Holes. What a waste...

In a lot of cases I think its pretty unfair to blame the individual actors here rather than the directors... Ahmed Best was not the problem with Jar Jar Binks - Lucas was and Best was only playing the hand he'd been dealt. That said, while you kindly included Halle Berry in Catwoman, you somehow forgot to include Halle Berry in just about every movie she's ever been in.

I object to the Freeman inclusion. If the film itself was bad rather than his performance (as the title of the feature specifically states), then why is he in there? :/ Also, Eli Roth in "Inglourious Basterds". That was cringeworthy and painful to watch and whilst it didn't ruin the film for me, it certainly knocked it down on the quality scale for me.

I actually LOVE Jon Voight in Anaconda. He's obviously hamming it on purpose and I think he's incredibly funny in this film. I actually watch Anaconda for Voight, not the big snake or Jennifer Lopez in a transparent nightie... Other examples : -Nicolas Cage in Deadfall -Mickey Rooney in Breakfast at Tiffany's -Stuart Townsend and Aaliyah in Interview with the Vampire sequel Queen of the Damned -Rutger Hauer as Dracula in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the film) -Tara Reid in Alone in the Dark -Tom Hanks and his mullet in The DaVinci Code (+ Audrey Tautou learning her lines phonetically) -Arnold Schwarzenegger and Uma Thurman in Batman & Robin -Julia Roberts and her smug smile in Eat, Pray Love -Diane Keaton in everything post 1995 -Demi Moore in G.I. Jane -Adrien Brody in Giallo -Sarah Jessica Parker in I Don't Know How She Does It (you'll just want to slap her!) -Casper Van Dien in Sleepy Hollow -Dev Patel in The Last Airbender -John Leguizamo in Spawn -Cameron Diaz in The Sweetest Thing / What Happens In Vegas / Bad Teacher -Russell Crowe in Virtuosity -Keanu Reeves in The Watcher -Antonio Banderas in Never Talk To Strangers -Whoever played Dracula + Parker Posey in Blade : Trinity -Jane March in Color of Night -Anything involving Martin Lawrence

The fact that Ben Affleck isn't on this list is criminal. Take off Bloom for POTC (because I do think that was his character and his story helps the films) and add in, I don't know, every Affleck film. Couldn't stand The Town, trying to believe that he was a love interest as he read scripts off the wall. Just not Smoking Aces- I liked his dead scene in that one. Thank you for Wanted, with Morgan Freeman being half the menacing underworld leader that he is in Lucky Number Slevin. And right after that, Tommy Lee Jones. I guess with enough movies, it is inevitable to get in bad ones. At least they both still kept their reputation as great character actors.

Actually, they DID explain that "Hitman" was groomed since birth to be a cold, lifeless killer with no real "human" emotions. Too bad Garret Dillahunt in "TSCC" TV show was the only one to successfully pull off such a robot - like character (with the added benefit of Cromartie BEING a robot) with some semblance of what we humans call "acting".

I take issue with 29) as Lowe seemed to play the dumb ice hockey twink role as it was written, but yeah I'd have to say Mickey Rooney in Breakfast at Tiffany's is the omission that stands out. Great list, fun to read, thanks.

Jamie Campbell Bower in Sweeny Todd! Disgusting human! Bradley Cooper in The A-Team, I'm actually a big fan of him overall but he played it far too smug in that, was unwatchable. Jon Lithgow in Cliffhanger! Couldn't quite suspend my disbelief that he could stand up to Stallone in a fight! Hilariously misscast! Tom Hardy in... Nah just kidding, he's perfect!

What about Jake Lloyd as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Phantom Menace? He is just as bad a Jar-Jar Binks, if not worse. His acting is so horrible in Phantom Menace he ruins the movie as much as Binks. Lucas could have had an established child star.

Keira Knightely is awful in everything, people have a go at Costner for his accent in Robin Hood, at least Costner was disappointed he could not do it properly, Knightely bloody kept her put on over the top cheesy posh English accent for King Arthur. POSH ENGLISH FOR SOMEONE WHO IS MEANT TO BE FROM THE SCOTTISH BORDERS FOR F**** SAKE? She was ten times worse than Orlando Bloom. Julia Roberts is absolutely terrible and so overatted it is disgusting, Eric Roberts is actually better because he has been identified with a cult following she never will. Mega Fox and Shia Leboeuf are both cack, Madonna acts only worse than her singing, Sofia Coppola is c**p at directing and acting and Quenton Tarantino is so bloody rubbish I do not understand it, I feel I am taking crazy pills the guy is bloody rubbish he has not made one five star film, Kill Bill was not a homage it was a rip off so was Jackie Brown and Death Proof. Amber Heard ruined Drive Angry and as for that little s**t in The Phantom Menace, grrr.

Failry run of the mill list. Things that caught my eye , some alreay mentioned. 1 - anaconda - john voight is what saves anaconda, look you have a film here where eric stoltz is collecting a paycheck for sleeping, the long awaited death of owen wilson and jennifer lopez getting slapped about. John voight is the cherry on this c**p sundae 2 - wicker man - i do not know what nicholas cage thought he was doing, in this film or bad lt. however i cant get enough of him sucker punching those women. 3 - could we have every film sam worthington has been in , why people keep employing this gimp confuses me, he's like a bad action figure of himself. 4 - try keanu reeves in dangerous liasons , you know when he runs through john malchovich(which i dont think would ever happen in reality) he is so on the cusp of sayin "dude, i totally killed you"

@Heisenberg : Nope, I'm just me... I don't know this dalidab fellow, I'm not on these forums very often. You gotta admit that Anaconda and The Wicker Man remake are both extremely entertaining movies. I can't get enough of Anaconda and I think Jon Voight is hilarious! I know The Wicker Man is c**p but at least they tried to do something else, something outrageous... at least they admitted that the original Wicker Man was a black-humored comedy in disguise, something Marcus Nispel did not understand when he remade The Texas Chainsaw Massacre...

I object to Timothy Olphant being in that list ... he's great in everything. Shia la Beouf should be there for sure, can't watch Transformers without feeling the urge to slap him silly. Also Tom Hanks in The Da Vinci Code and sequel, he was most yawn worthy. Will Smith in I am Legend, didn't have the right gravitas for the role. Will someone give Nathan Fillion a chance with a major role .... love him.

This is an awful feature. Nicholas Cages performance in The Wicker Man makes awful material a cult classic. If that was played straight that film would be stunningly horrid. Same goes for Tommy Wiseau and Darren Ewing. They made those movies what they are! They in no way ruined them, you know good and well that the film would have been just as (if not probably more) s**t without them. Also, saying Morgan Freeman ruined Wanted is just blood boilingly frustrating.

TF thinks that the performances "ruined" these movies? So it wasn't the make-up or shoddy footwear in Battlefield Earth; that was all perfectly acceptable... Idiots.

WHAT?! Orlando Bloom is the BEST in Pirates! Pirates stopped being Pirates without him! What ignorant hater wrote this anyway? Ever read ANYTHING on REAL acting? Thought I wouldn't be surprised since the person who wrote it is suggesting Depp for the both roles. ROTFLROTFL! Depp barely pulled Sparrow and he couldn't pull the role of Will Turner if his own life would be threatened. The REAL actor was needed to play Will and that's why Bloom was invited. He gave a truly great performance that was soulful and very moving. Bashing him and Keria is ignorant and low. But you gave me the idea: If Bloom played Will And Sparrow the movie would be much better! Depp's unpleasant personage became too boring, annoying and very predictable. Alot of makeup and makign faces doesn't really count like acting that deserves to be praised. But that's for the people who have at least some knowledge ont he field. The author of the "list" obviously doesn't fall into this cathegory. Depp is totally helpless without Bloom in On Stranger Tides and he showed once again that he can't carry the movie on his own. Why he is not on the list? Are you afraid of not praising the overlyPR-ed actor? How brave! Not.

I loved Chris Tucker in The Fifth Element. He was a hoot. And if you are including Bat-villains... admittedly Tommy Lee Jones was horrendous as Two-Face, how can you not include Arnold as Mr. Freeze in the worst movie ever made (Batman & Robin). In fact, there is a lack of Ah-nold on your list. What's up with that? Otherwise, not too much to argue with... Orlando Bloom is someone I personally would have left off the list, but to each its own.

agree on Reeves in Dracula, Christensen in the Star Wars prequel, Sofia in the third Godfather and Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever. they're just what ruin what could've and would've been awesome movies, otherwise. bloom's lack of screen charisma shows just how NOT ready he is for a lead role in ANY movie. jar jar's fault lies with the stereo typical/racist design and accent he has. it was all Lucas' call.

I'm sorry, but there is NO WAY you could have actually watched Troll 2 and thought Darren Ewing's performance ruined it. The whole movie is so cosmically bad. If you were seriously enjoying the film on its merits and thought it was "good" before Ewing's scene, then you're just nuts. That's the whole selling point of it now -- it's so bad, it's fun to watch.

The point of saying Darren Ewing "ruined" "Troll 2" is that there was this unrelievedly awful movie going past, and he came along and made the audience smile for a moment. By not sucking in a sucky movie, he ruined the movie's perfect suckitude.
