      Glad to see Sleep Tight and Compliance in there. Two veeerry difficult to watch films at points.

      very happy to see Maniac and A Field in England on here. however, I don't think the scariest scene from Maniac was on here, which has to be the finale, when SPOILERS IN THE FOLLOWING BRACKETS (the mannequins start pulling Frank apart). I would have also included the scene in American Mary where she lists the body modifications she'll perform on the rapist, and the insanely tense ending scene of the first act of The Place Beyond The Pines

      oh, and that scene in Prisoners where SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS Hugh Jackman builds that sclading-deprivation-cage/coffin-thingy for Paul Dano, when he shows it to Terrence Howard was especially disturbing, as he looks at Jackman knowing what a monster he's become

      Movie 43 was the scariest thing this year. But no stuff from Rush? Lauda's crash was scary.
