Couple of things - Firstly, this is more like an 'I love the 80s/90s tribute, and secondly, number 27 (E.R.), Michael Crichton died a couple of years ago :¬(

Gotta agree with you about Moe. The guy needs his own spinoff as the Moe-centric episodes are normally the stronger ones out there. I would like to see an Agent Dale Cooper (Twin Peaks) spinoff. It should by like X Files on crack.

If it's a feature called "50 TV characters who deserve their own movies" and you have ER and Doug Ross.. why do you only give him a cameo? That doesn't make sense.

@ChrisWootton I would give Clooney a cameo, not Dr. Ross. The film would involve "recasting most of the major roles". Hope that clears it up :)

Fair enough. Although arguably the only reason he is such a good character is because of Clooney's performance.

The only one out of these I'd pay to see would be Blackadder if they could get it right. A lot of the other characters in the list are going on my nerves as minor players already. I loved Due South, but it should never be re-made as a series or a movie. Also, Paul Haggis was the creator of the series, but they had their best seasons when Haggis and Marciano were gone, Paul Gross took over as executive producer and Callum Keith Rennie came in as Fraser's new partner. Thank you kindly ;-)

Lafayette from True Blood? The characters storyline in that programme has got absolutely ridiculous. He must curse the writers of the show every time he receives a script.

David Fincher may be kind of an obvious choice for Dexter, but so be it. It would be perfect. Especially with Bret Easton Ellis writing. MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

If they made a Green Arrow movie Hammer would defo be a solid choice and it simply HAS to be the Supermax script that is already in existence.

I'm still hoping for a special, ten-or-so episode series to tie off Quantum Leap. A new Leaper goes back to help find Sam. Still breaks my heart when i watch that ending. Can't believe they cancelled it before it finished properly.

As I was reading this I am thinking Omar. Lost's plot has kind of done for any spin off for them. I would love to see a Meadow Soprano film picturing her as a lawyer defending the crew.

Wasn't the humour with George Costanza the fact that very often everything was going right for him, but he'd always f**k it up due to his own insecurities and paranoia?
