    Come on, everyone knows Nathan Drake was based on Nathan Fillion, same look, same first name. Oh and Commander Shepherd, Cloud Strife and Wanda from Shadow of the Colossus should have been in the top ten. But thats just my opinion.

    Josh Brolin as a very brutal but good gy John Marston? Could not agree more but Josh Holloway as Nathan Drake? No!

    What is wrong with Total Film these days, it's been confirmed that Tom Hardy is going to play Sam Fisher, in fact, it was your own magazine and this web site that said he will be playing him. I find it pathetic that you don't even remember your own news, think about what you are doing and get some common sense please.

    For Fallout 3, you CAN have the Lone Wanderer as a female character - that'd be an interesting watch, if she were Ellen Ripley-like.

    So happy Grim Fandango was included here! That's a game that's crying out for a film adaptation, although the upcoming Pixar Day of the Dead project looks like it could be pretty awesome and in a similar art style. Some great choices on here too, only thing I would say is Josh Hutcherson as Link- really? And also, Jade from Beyond Good and Evil should be on here, played by someone like Noomi Rapace.

    I'd be up for seeing Josh Holloway as Drake, he's a terrific actor and a born movie star. Portal is hilarious and has real potential as a movie, as long as Stephen Merchant and JK Simmons sign on for it too. Dead space could be a stunner in the right hands, someone like Eduardo Sanchez perhaps (good lord no to Paul WS Anderson, Len Wiseman and Marcus Nispel).

    Bryan Cranston is too old for Gordon Freeman - GF was 27 in the game. I still think that game is long over-due for a movie...

    This is actually what i hate about hollywood game adaptations at the moment - they take a character and try to make their own film around them, rather than actually adapting the story of the game. Its is the games that need an adaptation, not the individual characters.

    OMG I also hope they do a Tomb Raider game! They would need someone with massive baps and slightly unattractive natural beauty. Angelina Jolie would do! OMG I bet that would be AMAZING! Video game film adaptations are always GREAT!

    [Alex Mason - picture of Frank Woods] Most of the casting choices were pretty unoriginal, but some (James Franco, Nic Cage, Eric Bana) were great. But John Goodman for Scott Shelby, Matthew McConaghey for Tommy Vercetti (i love Gosling, but he can't just play a loud-mouth Driver), and Anton Yelchin for Link, surely.

    Someone needs, let me say that again...NEEDS, to make a good Bioshock film, the story line and setting and characters are just too good to waste! and Joseph Gordon Levitt as Jack would be sweet, maybe even CGI him up a bit like in looper so he looks a bitmore thuggish. i could die happily the day that gets made...(well i might add).
