The new Mr. Fantastic speaks about what drew him to the project
Take a trip to the dark side…
The Movie: Aren’t dad’s hilarious?! They just don’t have any idea how to handle their kids. Or, at least, that’s what Eddie Murphy clearly thinks – why else would he sign up for this sorry chuckle vacuum? Most Disturbing Detail: It’s cripplingly unfunny.

no thunderbirds ?
Nov 8th 2011, 11:41
Out of the ones I've seen in the list I thought a few of them weren't bad..."Flubber" included. Yep, I went there. Anyway I remember seeing a live-action version of Pinocchio that WASN'T the Benigni version (and probably had a different title), and the wooden puppet they had scared the sh!t out of me! It was a pretty dark adaptation as well. (Can't remember what it's called or even its year of release though. Fortunately.)

You have Shark Tale and Super Mario Bros (guilty pleasures) but no Pete's Dragon? Interminable songs,s**te mugging-to-camera 'acting' and it seemed to go on for about 7 hours. That film was why Disney was in such financial trouble at the time.....
Nov 8th 2011, 12:37
There are some stinkers in there, but i can think of worse ones.
1 - any of the pokemon movies, how did they escape.
2 - what no last airbender
3 - any of the naruto movies
4 - any movie starring zak efron
5 - the movie "9" , i personally love it , but kids movie no, its a bit bleak.
6 - you have three ninjas on here but not the follow up which were hamster chewingly bad
7 - probelm child but not the 2 sequels ( i think there were, i may stand corrected)
the list is endless.... these are indeed the tip of the ice berg. i think its not the movies sometimes that are bad but the ideas they are asking to put across
btw booooo i lovedf the garbage pail kids and had a dickens of a time finding it on dvd, thank god it was preserved, however sadly they did not loose some piffle in the big transfer.
Nov 8th 2011, 13:38
Jesus, I've never seen The Garbage Pail Kids movie - it looks f**king terrifying!!!!!
Nov 8th 2011, 14:19
As you did not include "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle"?My God.
Nov 8th 2011, 14:54
You mention Shark Tale but not The Reef? Doggy Poo is actually pretty heartwarming, it's just very unconventional. And since it's only half an hour long, should it even be on this list? I'm also surprised you missed out all the other ninja films of the early 90s, including Surf NInjas, The Little Ninja Dragon (AKA Magic Kid) and 3 Little NInjas And The Lost Treasure. Also what about the later Home Alone films? The first 2 were good, but after that it all started to go horribly downhill.
Also, did most of this just get stolen from various contributors on That Guy With The Glasses?
Nov 8th 2011, 16:26
Willow..ha! Lucas couldnt get the rights to The Hobbit, so what does he do? Rip if off! Also Babe 2, Black Cauldron, Titan AE, and most of Ghostbusters 2,... The Statue of LIberty walks? Pfft!
Nov 8th 2011, 19:39
Who likes The Garbage Pail Kids Movie? Also, Dr. Seuss's widow didn't threaten legal action against adaptations in general, but she did say that no more LIVE ACTION adaptations would be made. Hence Horton Hears A Who and The Lorax.
Nov 8th 2011, 19:41
Also, on a related note, North is not only one of the worst kid's films ever, it's one of the worst MOVIES of all time. Incredibly offensive to about a dozen cultures, and even more offensive to the audience. And in response to a certain person's comment; just because it's a kid's film doesn't mean we shouldn't hold it to the same standard as normal cinema. Saying kid's films are allowed to suck is pretty much saying that kids aren't people.
Nov 8th 2011, 19:55
Are these being judged from watching them as an adult or as a kid? Because North is amazing, it was one of my favourite films as a kid...
Nov 8th 2011, 20:01
hey Dalidab, FYI if you got yourself a better taste in kids films you might have more luck convincing those young boys you talk to online you're really their age. The irony of a bipolar little paedo such as yourself telling someone else they should be named and shamed is ridiculous.
Nov 8th 2011, 20:23
I keep telling you, I LIKE WRITERDAVE!
Nov 8th 2011, 20:33
He's not a bully. The guy telling people to die of cancer. THAT'S a bully.
Nov 8th 2011, 20:41
You know far much better sense do you? Shame you don't know any better grammar. 268 friends seems extremely precise- I'm guessing that's either a fictional number or you just looked at your facebook/twitter/myspace/whof*****gcares page and found out there. Either way it's pretty pathetic. ANYHOO. Considering you regularly go on rambling descriptions on what you'd like to do to prepubescent-appearing teenage boys, and I don't, I'm actually ok on the moral high ground on this. I also have never wished death by cancer on anyone, though I personally think that if you could contract crippling arthritis that negates your ability to type the world would be a far better place. Need we remind people of your disgusting and utterly nonsensical attack on bisexuals? Or do you prefer to pretend that didn't actually happen. I don't particularly think I'm hard but then again you are a fat little bald gay guy that bears a surprising resemblance to a baked potato- I doubt very much you have the balls to say any of the c**p you spout on these boards to my or anyone else's face in public, whereas I'd happily say this to your face any time. As for 'heroic', sorry but there are many people far more deserving of that title than me. I don't expressly try to be funny but I think humour is the best and most effective way to demolish bigoted little sex pests like you so guess I'm guilty there. And as for clever... well I'd like to think I'm pretty smart but then again my dog is probably smarter than you so it's not saying much. I could lobotomise myself and still give you a run for your money. Lastly... are you meant to be bullying me? As I don't feel bullied at all- to be able to bully me you'd have to be either intimidating or at the very least insulting, and you're just generally too pathetic, lame and just plain stupid to do either. Why don't you send your brother over to see me instead?
Nov 8th 2011, 20:45
So clever you can't even spell 'am'. Well done.
Nov 8th 2011, 20:48
I truly deserve being ranted at by an illiterate mentally-deficient failed actor?
Nov 8th 2011, 20:58
@dalidab Thankyou. There are so many versions out there, it's ridiculous! :)
I ALMOST FORGOT. The Disney version of "Atlantis" which came out in 2001, around that time? I was 9 or 10 when I saw it on DVD and thought it was terrible, a pretty boring film if I remember rightly! Mind you, it was 10 years ago. Might have improved with age...
Nov 8th 2011, 20:59
As much as I dislike you, I give you a point for calling yourself illiterate.
Ok well let me know when the well loved and liked guy shows up to take over from you lol. You're not very good at this bullying thing are you.
Nov 8th 2011, 21:00
Steve don't congratulate him too quickly- a) he probably doesn't know what that means, and b) pretty sure he just copy and pasted.
Jesus, guys, really? You not seeing a pattern here? He starts it but you guys seem to encourage it. 'S been going on for a while now. Just thought I'd say.
Nov 8th 2011, 21:10
I know but I'm in a bad mood and it's a welcome diversion from my essays :/
Nov 8th 2011, 21:33
Dalidab is a troll., he knows what to say and is just waiting for some one to rise to it. You can practically predict his behavior on these boards. Just let him type his b******t and ignore it.
Nov 8th 2011, 22:32
@dalidab Fair enough and I respect your opinion :) Mind you, like I said, it has been 10 years, so maybe if I watch it again it would have aged differently? I dunno. I liked "Treasure Planet" and "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" too though :)
Nov 8th 2011, 23:19
Our level? You're the only one who's ever wished others to die of cancer and called bisexuals 'vile disgusting half breeds', you hypocritical little c**t. Your 'respecting others' opinions' line is rubbish too- you slag off TF and FBGregory for their opinions on this very page!
Nov 9th 2011, 1:21
I'll put you guys down as 'undecided'.
Nov 9th 2011, 2:52
Jim Henson died in 1990 a few months after the FIRST TMNT movie... he did not have any input in the THIRD film obviously since in came out in 1993... The Creature Shop was not involved and it had nothing to do with how great the film once.. TOTAL FILM and JOSH WINNING disappoint me heavily. Your Last name should be LOSING
Nov 9th 2011, 11:54
I thought i'd find Dalibnonce commenting on an article about 'Kids' films.
And still wishing cancer on people I see!! What a twisted little freak you truly are.....
Nov 9th 2011, 12:37
Heres an idea. Every time i see dalidab on here he's having a go at someone, WriterDave why not just block dalidab till he learns to play nice,
i agree with comments further up, troll definately.
Nov 9th 2011, 14:31
Cheers @FBWViger, that should of course have read 'Jim Henson Creature Shop', though I'm sure Henson himself would've stayed well away from Turtles 3 if given the choice. And I like to think I'm Bi-Winning.
Nov 9th 2011, 14:55
There were only a few of these i had actually seen! I actually loved Rock-a-doodle and Shark tale! I'll call them guilty pleasures if that makes it sound more ok for me to like them. I liked Flubber as a kid but not now! And Daddy day care wasn't that bad! But then there are always going to be films that kids love but adults don't!
Nov 9th 2011, 20:33
wait, we can block people? how am I learning this now?
Nov 10th 2011, 10:31
We can block?? I don't know if I could block dalidab. It's like finding out about "2 girls 1 cup", you know you shouldn't look, but you can't help it.
Nov 10th 2011, 13:15
Thanks for that, ruined my chocolate brownie for lunch...
Nov 12th 2011, 14:45
Why is Flubber here? It was one of my favourite films ever as a kid! And Daddy Day Care is quite funny! Shark Tale is ace aswell - Japanese fish selling other fish 'Sushi' and having to close down - GENIUS.

What? No Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure or Barney's Great Adventure? The former has gone down as one of the all-time box office chumps, while Barney's Great Adventure has been mentioned as one of the worst movies ever!
