Hermione - Emma Watson  (the Harry Potter movies)

The Character: Not only is Hermione the biggest teacher's pet in movie history, she's bullied mercilessly for being a Mudblood. Sure, her outcast status doesn't stop her from making pals, but even Dungeons & Dragons fans have people to play with.

The Actress: "I actually think going to university will make me a better actress. The experience of living like that, working to deadlines, living with other students. It’s all the things I want."

The Verdict: Watson has grown up playing Hermione, and it seems some of the character's attitude to life has rubbed off on her.

We're not sure if we'd see Hermione doing the sort of photoshoots we've see Watson in recently, but as she went on record to state she finds sexy shoots 'embarrassing', we're going to accept her into the geek fold.
