After Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus belatedly becomes a major cult hit with a future generation of irony-farting hipsters, The Asylum secure funding for a similarly showdown-based rehash featuring two core characters from Yo Gabba Gabba.

The titular SMRG, having long since retired to teach kindergartern music classes, is called back into action when ageing hip-hop luminary Biz Markie - host of a 2008/9 Yo Gabba Gabba segment called Biz’s Beat Of The Day, in which he taught kids beatboxing - discovers a special bass hook in his drum lab that can crack the planet’s crust.

He holds Earth to ransom in payback for all the snivelling little pre-schoolers he mentored and who have now entirely replaced him in the charts.

It’s crap, and doesn’t become another culty web meme until some stoned students watch it during a dormitory hot-box session in 2034.
