Wow, no wonder you're even thinking about saving Mel Gibson's career. Calling the presenters of The View harlots - you have a lot in common with the man. FAIL, Total Film.

You think that (allegedly) beating his partner is just being "naughty"? What's wrong with you.

Yes, calling a cackling coven of overpaid know-it-alls Harlots is bang out of order! :D

A WHOPPING £25,000 to charity? How much did the passion make again?

Just light up the funeral pyre, gently push the raft into the river and send his career downstream into oblivion. So long Mel, it's been good to know ya.

"naughty boy"?? Granted, a lot may have gone down that we don't know about and yes, there are always two sides to the story but I'm gonna go with the majority here and say that Gibson is done.

The View? Debate?!?! puh-lease!! Nah, blue eyes is done in front of the camera. Directing, who knows. I haven't seen any of his work behind the camera yet and have no interest. Don't think there's any coming back from this for him.

Well, aren't you being overdramatic? He owns millions (last time I checked he had more than 800 million dollars) and he is not the only actor/movie-maker who screwed up. Sure he screwed up often recently, but he is talened and intelligent. I think a combination of rehab and therapy might do him good. I have nothing against him being an avenger in movies. He does it so well. And I loved Edge of Darkness. But if we are all that concerned about cleansing ourselves with Hollywood's jerks let's get rid of Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Great actor, nice kid. But he is already an alcoholic and did a racist rant at the airport. Mel was perfectly tame in public when he was his age. Woody Allen must go. He slept with his adopted daughter and then left Mia Farrow for her. Surely, you realize this is sick? You already forgave Roman Polanski? I never heard anyone on set complaining that Mel was abusive. Christian Bale's co-workers might not agree. .............. See? If we got rid of them all, we wouldn't have many actors/film-makers left. Either judge them all or just give Mel a break. And no, I am not letting him off the hook. I already did 2 posts on judging him. And it was before the latest tapes came out. http://pinartarhan.com/blog/mel-gibson-what-in-the-world-happened-to-you/ http://pinartarhan.com/blog/top-6-celebrity-nut-jobs/

Is it still a career if he earns $800 million? Im sure everyone would love to cry about thier loss of earnings in a F-Off heated pool.

i'm so there with Pinar, on Woody Allen. i mean, if people could tolerate THAT, then why not Mel? i don't think Woody even went thru as much judgment and ill-wishes as Mel did. i mean, c'mon...she used to one of his wife's adopted CHILDREN, which makes it HIS adopted daughter!!! that IS sick. So, Mel said some racist stuff (which personally, i don't think was too way out there). Heck, i have a bigger problem with him mentioning something bout his wife getting "raped" by the N word. But, racism CAN be educated. NOT JUSTIFIED, but EDUCATED. Regarding his angry rants to his gold digging wife, well..alec baldwin's wrath on his daughter is, to me, more inappropriate. more over, those are personal conversations MADE PUBLIC by one of the parties. i'm sure we ALL got some skeletons in our closets, only we're not celebrities. So, yeah...dare i say it. i still wanna give Mel a chance. who am i to judge? if he's so racist, then why would he do a film like APOCALYPTO. what benefit would a RACIST filmmaker get from THAT???
