Talent: Michael Jackson
Why It Rocks: Despite all the scandal that swirled around his life and his recent death, Jackson could certainly rustle up an amazing stage performance.
With the now-aborted tour, he had plans to bring the magic back and remind everyone why he was so popular. We'll never get to see the final product, but this is a blend of behind-the-scenes rehearsals, interviews and videos created for the show (such as a 3D take on Thriller) that should work well for fans and bring in some new ones.
It arrives in cinemas on Wednesday, and is currently planned for a limited run, so if you're looking to see it, you'd best get to buying tickets if you haven't already.

Good list, but Meredith Hunter, the person killed by a member of the Hell's Angels at Altamont Speedway is a man, not a woman.

This list is hugely lacking in not mentioning "Urgh: A Music War".

Uh, in a word, No. What about Pink Floyd's Live in Pompeii (what if a band held a concert and no one came?)? Festival Express? Joe Cocker's Madogs and Englishmen? Dave Chapelle's Block Party (Michael Gondry!!)? Marvin Gaye live at Montreaux? The Concert for Bangladesh? Bittersweet Motel? Scratch? With the exception of This Is It, I've seen every film on this list and I'll agree with Stop Making Sense & Last Waltz is by far the best concert film, etc. But Gimme Shelter above c********r Blues??? C'mon.

Oh and Wilco's "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart" - where else do you see a band sell their record twice to the same label???
