The Role: Bruce Wayne / Batman in Batman Forever (1995).
When They Got The Call: Gunfighting at the OK Corral as Doc Holliday in Tombstone.
Impact On The Character: Both Holliday and Batman are iconoclasts fighting alongside - but not necessarily for - the law, although the Doc is far funnier.

Cavill looks like he'll make a fine superman. Immortals, as awful as it was, did show that he can play the strong chosen hero. He seems to have the look, but it remains to be seen if he can perform the role. The director of the movie is what the audience should be wary of; Snyder has made two bad movies and one mediocre one. Hopefully the star studded cast can save this film and hopefully the star can at least make for a likeable man of steel. Perhaps there is a chance that Superman will return to his former glory.

Where did that Green Lantern shot come from?
Apr 23rd 2012, 13:17
The shot of Ryan Reynolds as Green Lantern is a photoshop created before any images from the film were released.

@MorganRoss, @Dillypogo: The erroneous Ryan Reynolds image has now been swapped out for the correct one.

I think its more interesting to see how playing a character in a comic book film can affect your career after the movie is released. With the exception of Hugh Jackman and RDJ (we'll exclude Heath Ledger for obvious reasons) how many of these actors saw a major shift in their careers after playing these roles? Clooney obviously has become a bigger player in hollywood, but i think we'd all agree that is despite Batman & Robin, not because of it.

Gene Hackman played Lex in 3 Superman films, not 2.

Great article, but you wrote Loki's name wrong. It's Tom Hiddleston, not Hiddlestone.
