Best: Shaun Of The Dead (2004)

Was there ever anything more British than zombies invading a pub? Oh alright, probably, but in Edgar Wright’s capable hands, this zany zombie revision, sliced through with unmistakable Brit wit and transplanting the cast of Spaced to the big screen, is a solid gold winner.

Launching Simon Pegg and Nick Frost into international stardom, the duo are at their most drily comical here – a double act for our culture savvy modern world. Altogether now: “Fuck-a-doodle-do!”

      Aww No Local Hero? Worst? Every sitcom movie from the 70s thats ever dragged its unfunny carcass across the screen...(actually Porrige was ok)

      Dead Man's Shoes should be in there - easily Meadows' best flick and Paddy's best performance. I'm surprised TF didn't include This is England - you seem to have a h*****n for that film. Since you included Get Carter, can I assume that's the reason there's no Mona Lisa or The Long Good Friday? Trying to include a wider range of genre? Also, I prefer Hot Fuzz to Shaun of the Dead. But when picking between the both of them, I guess there's no right or wrong answer. Oh yeah, where's Scum? Classic! Also, how about In Bruges? I don't know off-hand if it's actually 100% British made though. Anyway, I could go on - and already have. Generally, you got it right in regards to good or bad.
