Jackman's big break comes in the form of his most iconic role to date. Though his version of Wolverine is a more tamed beast than the one we know from the comics, Jackman's got the stature and the muscle mass to pull the whole thing off (not to mention the sideburns).
He also sheds the Aussie accent admirably, and shares decent chemistry with Anna Paquin. Little did he know he’d wind up being the X-verse’s most popular character (though surely Wolvie’s comic fanbase gave him a hint), leading to a great string of X movies…

When about when Huge Jackmen slipped on the television when he was being on the T4 interview for his new book Real Steal? When he slipped on this part of the show he could have submitted that himself as one of his worst and not best Huge Jackmen moments in not film moment but in the real life film about his life Huge Jackmen: Are I Who I Say You am?.?

Hmmm.....X-men: The Last Stand, Swordfish, Australia and X-Men Origins: Wolverine all received 3 stars from TF. How strange....??!

"Profile of a Serial Killer" wasn't made post X-Men. It's actually a television film made in 1998 (not 2004) originally called "Halifax f.p. : Afraid of the Dark" where Jackman only has third billing. I guess they re-released it years later to capitalize on Jackman's fame... you know, like they did with Stallone's "The Italian Stallion".

I started reading this with the horrible thought that First Class would be included, if for no other reason than an unnatural obsession with it. It's just impossible to mix the genius of his character in the first two movies with the dull and lifeless humor of this scene, which in no way lends itself to the series and falsely implies that there is a link between this new one and the old one- IT CAN'T BE BOTH! You can't skip a Sommers, change the story of the helmet, change Beast's history, but still use the great Blue look and two actors of the original. I seriously resent this movie.

Yeah having Patrick Stewart in the trilogy AND the Wolverine: Origins movie, and Wolverine in First class makes it hard to claim that Wolverine: Origins movie is non-canon. It also makes a nonsense of having Emma Frost as a woman in the 60s and a teenager in the 70s... Must stop sounding like Comic Book Guy...

I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere that it wasn't Emma Frost in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Just some random other diamond-skinned mutant called Crystal or something. I'm not sure though as I'm not too knowledgeable on the inner geekdom so could easily be wrong.

yeah several people have said it wasn't supposed to be Emma Frost in Origins. Whether that's genuine or not is another question!
