I literally created an account because of this article. You are clearly forgetting his best role, as a grieving widower in "Grace is Gone." As a huge Cusack fan, its a disgrace not have included this movie!

The Contract was also a decent film - though probably still not exactly worthy of being placed on the Best-list.

I think the writer of this article should try again. The above posters have mentioned enough movies left off this list, which makes me wonder if the author of this article actually did any research at all.

No mention for The Grifters? Must love dogs is the worst of the bunch. I'm currently watching my way through all Cusack's films, up to 1993 so far... www.cusackchallenge.blogspot.com

What about Eight Men Out? The John Sayles film about the Chicago "Black Sox" scandal in the 20s.

You also forgot both Bullets Over Broadway and Better Off Dead. Oh yeah...and Igor was darkly comic and actually quite good!

The Contract deserves to be on the worst list because it was just terrible. I remember shouting at it. You forgot Runaway Jury, One Crazy Summer, The Thin Red Line, Identity, Bullets Over Broadway, Eight Men Out and The Grifters.
