It's kind of hard to watch All Dogs Go To Heaven after finding out the actress playing the little girl was murdered by her father before the film came out.

Best, of course, is A Matter of Life and Death. Honourable mentions for Defending Your Life and B & T's Bogus Journey. Worst: Brainstorm (who cleans up all those feathers?).

Can't believe nobody caught this. If the guy who wrote this is even still around, you do realize that everything you described for the All Dogs Go To Heaven segment is from the ripoff sequel that came out in 1996? The original actually did heaven pretty well, with some grandoise images and a few subtle tongue-in-cheek moments, and a great color scheme. And contrary to what the minorityreport guy said, the film itself actually makes a very nice tribute to Judith Barsi, especially with the song they made for her at the end.
