The Award: Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for La Vie En Rose
The Speech: Proving that even when overcome by emotion, the French can deliver a killer line, Ms Cotillard’s acceptance speech is short, passionate and ends on a nice little poetic turn.
“Olivier [Dahan, director], what you did to me, you rocked my life. You truly rocked my life. Thank you so much to Picturehouse for your passion, members of the Academy, thank you so, so much and wow. Well, I’m speechless now. I... I... Thank you life, thank you love. It is true there is some angels in this city.”

Christ! The worst thing about geeks is that they cant understand feelings and this is such a case! Gwenyth Paltrow was over happy and so was Halle Berry when they won and their reactions were understandable. Grow up, get a life and move out of your parents basement kiddos of Totalfilm.
