That’s the bloke’s who’s… someone rather versatile, but oft unfairly unforgotten. He’s Sorter in Revolver (pity), Mussawi in Syriana (serious) and Pinbacker in Sunshine (bonkers).

2007’s paydirt is... STARDUST, as battling knight Septimus all adrift in Matthew Vaughn’s fantasy frolic.

He hit a low point with… Revolver aside, it’s tough going to find too many fans of Tristan + Isolde. Seriously, are there any out there? Hello?

In his own words… “The older I get, the more I realise there is no substitute for quality. I just want to do intelligent, well thought-out work because in the end that’s the most satisfying.”
 
David Paymer (OCEAN’S 13)

That’s the bloke’s who’s… in City Slickers, Payback, The Hurricane, but could sit opposite you on the Night Bus and not cause a mere flutter of one of your eyelids. 

2007’s paydirt is... OCEAN’S 13, as a hotel inspector given the rough-around by Clooney, Pitt, Damon and co. He’s a comedic glow in the drabness.

He hit a low point with... City Slickers II: The Legend Of Curly’s Gold which, let’s face it, is Shitty Lickers compared to the original.

In his own words… “I like to play different characters. I try not to repeat myself in terms of the roles I do, so that’s always a criterion, I guess.”
