“Hey listen, I did it, it’s in the public space. I take the consequences for it. I’m not hiding from that. I went overboard.
“I’m not making any excuses, but there is an essential trust and it’s not a tacit one, which is every sound guy says, ‘We are not only not recording, we are not even listening.’ So, well, there goes that.”

“I do stress though, it’s not in anyway a trust that’s there to cover up bad behaviour. It’s not about that. It’s an essential trust that’s needed for creativity.”
“I just don’t think it’s in anyone’s interest to know that much either. I’m actually someone that’s very anti the whole B-Rolls, DVD extras and stuff like that.
“I understand people are interested, I get that they want to hear about it, but to me I look at it as old school movie magic and with magic you do not reveal your secrets.
“I’m not making any excuses. I’m not whining. I’m not going [puts on silly voice] ‘Oh well, if it hadn’t have been for that!’ But it’s that. It’s a creative trust. It’s not a behavioural trust.”

I'm sorry but is it just me who has no idea what Bale is going on about?! That's not an explanation, that's just a load of 'I'm up my own a**e, aren't I so important' actor rubbish. I used to really love Bale, he's such a good actor but I think over the last year or so he's just proven himself to be a dull, overly intense, take himself to seriously idiot! As you can see, i think he's great!

Was it a slow news day? I mean come on!! if you PERFECT PEOPLE shouted at someone LAST YEAR,you wouldnt want this to go on forever right?he APOLOGISED...I thought the total-film review would be more about Bale as a person and less about the rant story from 10'000 years ago..so what if he doesnt like to take s**t from people?have some RESPECT for the guy!!

Bale didn't just "shout" at someone. He ranted and raved, on and on, for several minutes. A diva in his prime.

The more we learn about Mr. Bale's temper, the more we are to be concerned that he cannot control it. This outburst was not simply someone losing their temper after a long hard day at work - he showed a truly unstable side. No one, under any circumstances should EVER speak to another human being the way he did. I cannot get past it and will not be seeing any more of his films. What ever happened to that angelic little boy in Henry V? Truly, truly sad.

Please "balewillsurvive". Have respect for the guy? Do you know anything about respect? He showed no respect for the man on the other end of his rant - only contempt. To be shown respect you have to earn it and offer it to others. He clearly cannot - he is caught up in himself plain and simple. And I'm sorry...somethings should be remembered and not just forgotten because time goes by. Yes, he should be forgiven, of course. But forgotten - it's not that easy to get that out of your head once you've heard it.
