You've got a great cast...
“When we were writing the first draft of Scott Pilgrim we were trying to think who would be the perfect person to play him and at that point Michael Cera had only done Arrested Development, he was 17.
I remember me and Michael Bacall thinking, ‘Shame that kid’s not older!’ And now he is older.
And Mary Elizabeth Winstead… I guess I first saw her properly in Death Proof and as soon as I saw her in that, I thought, ‘Ah, that’s Ramona.’ She is the character. She even comes from the same area… It’s been a really great process.”
And what's happening post Pilgrim?
“I’ve been working on a number of different things that are in various different stages, like I’ve been writing Ant-Man for Marvel with Joe Cornish, working on The World’s End with Simon and another project I’m doing on my own with Working Title.”
