Punisher War Zone has appeared on our radar a lot recently, with a trailer and pictures reminiscent of a certain comic book movie you might recall from last year.

It seems that The Punisher can now claim another successful franchise - 24 - as one of its influences, if these new pictures are anything to go by.

Not that applying a healthy dose of Jack Bauer action to a movie is a bad thing. In fact, in the one particularly close-up photo (see below), Ray Stevenson looks more like the trigger happy CTU agent than Kiefer Sutherland. Well, almost.
