January 2010 - The original is still the 15th highest grossing movie worldwide. The franchise has taken nearly £2 billion worldwide. Ripe for reinvention, then.
Sure enough, in Jan 2010, during promotional duties on The Wolfman, Joe Johnston - who also helmed Jurassic Park 3 - confirmed plans for a reboot:
"Well, there is going to be a Jurassic Park 4. And it's going to be unlike anything you've seen. It breaks away from the first three—it's essentially the beginning of the second Jurassic Park trilogy. It's going to be done in a completely different way. That's pretty much all I can tell you."

They should definitely see if the dinosaurs actors they got to star in the first one to come onboard for the reboot of this franchise that they could make with the cast they used in the previously filmed one to see if the original dinosaurs are available or busy being in another dinosaurs movies so they can ask if they are available for this version of the dinosaur franchise they were in to begin with before the reboot?

'Unlike anything you've evr seen' Let me guess....Scientists creat dinosaurs, scientists try to coral dinosaurs, dinosaurs go bonkers and start killing everything they see...am I warm? So sad that all the script writers in hollywood have become as extinct as Dinosaurs. How long will it be before we get the reimagining of the reboot of the prequel of the original remake......I guess 3D and SFX are far more important than a decent script.
