Because he loves her and he’s rich, obviously.
But we’ve got another theory on this particular shot, one we’ll elaborate on in a minute.
In the meantime, ah. Isn’t it pretty?

Neckplace might be being read into too much. It's very hard to see if she is even wearing it when she's in her bra but anythings possible.

“Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” in May of 1968. visit this: gossipscentralcom

Sorry, but the "hulkbuster" armour, is as far as I can tell, actually the Heavy Duty Armour, which isn't the same thing. Infact, they look nothing alike.
I can't put links, but search Heavy Duty Armour and Hulkbuster armour and you'll realise they look different.
For me, the armour in the film looks like the HDA, only blue, rather than the Hulkbuster armour, unless it's been massively redesigned, which is possible.

I take it total film was not at the screening of 25 minutes of footage.
Empire,IGN and ain't it geeky news were...a quick look at there sites and every Iron man 3 article comments on how pepper wears iron mans own suit in the attack on the Malibu home.

@ matthaughton94 I agree thats not the hulkbuster.... but in the previous shot the suit on the furthest right could be it looks more like the comic version.
