The film finds a young Indian cook (Akshay Kumar) longing to escape his mundane life. Destiny grants him an escape when two strangers from China arrive, claiming that he’s the reincarnation of a war hero.

Sadly for our new champion, he’s actually just being set up to take on a viscous smuggler (Kill Bill’s Gordon Liu).
