Offed or Boffed?

Deaded or bedded? Play our sexy/scary horror-movie picture game!

As all horror film fans know, making sex and getting slashed up by the masked bad guy often go together (generally it's sex then death, but occasionally the other way round - see Jorg Buttgereit's Nekromantik).

So we've knocked up a quick game to test whether or not you can tell the difference between horror characters either doing the nasty or having nasty things done to them. Usually with knives.

Check the close-up shot, decide whether the person is being Boffed or getting Offed, then click to see the answer... (And keep score).

How did you do?

11/11
You are the 'Boff-master' - that is, someone who is very good at telling the difference between sexual ecstasy and the throes of death.

6-10
You are quite good at distinguishing between sex-frenzy and death-agony. More practice needed - perhaps by doing more murdering or having sex.

Less than 6
You either don't care about your bed-partner's pleasure or, to you, sex and death are so similar they're impossible to tell apart. Get some therapy.

Oh, it says "Tell us what you think". I think the sad and slow descent of TotalFilm into the realm of Lads-Mags-dom is pretty sad. But having said that, casting my mind back to '97, you always were the knuckle dragging moron's version of a certain other film magazine. ;) take care.

Well done to Bulletproof_Animal there for voicing their opinion! If you want to see where the real intelligence in film magazines lies, check out the reviews between Total Film and "a certain other magazine". Clearly Total Film considers its verdict, and doesn't let longstanding geek love influence decisions on films, unlike "a certain other magazine". A little smut never hurt anyone, so please take your conservative views elsewhere...

Isn't that Barbara Howard from Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, directed by Joseph Zito and not from the first one directed by Sean?

You know what, Darth, you could be right... And bless you, Mr conorm, for having a sense of humour.
