It's got a great cast. But making it a PG-13 means it can get f***ed!

Looks poor and saying "something slicker" when you are describing the original and superior Robocop suit is not a nod it is an arrogant insult, film will be t**s.

The film makers seem overly preoccupied with getting some satire in there as if whipping up a shoddy re-make and then covering it in a rich, satirical sauce will raise it to the levels of style and originality of the 1987 movie.. The original film was enjoyable and wildly popular due to it's wholly unique use of violence as the vehicle to deliver the satirical message. This time any 'clever message' has been included as an excuse to cash in on a hugely loved classic.. This film will in all likelihood be an absolute waste of time and an unimaginative pile of s**t I reckon. At the same time both pointless and offensive, like a Mc G re-make of Schindler's List. Worse maybe.

OK so if alex murphy isn't dead then he isn't robocop he is cyborg cop.... he is caught in an explosion that causes paralyses on him but yet his "hand" and face are unburnt, so does he have a human brain ? or a computer one ? so if he is paralised from the neck down how did they keep his human hand surely it would need to be robotic to work. it makes no sense and if the plot holes are this big from the start i will hate to see the mess the film is going to be. I understand why they are keeping it quiet. the thing is the original robocop was cleverer than it's audience sadly it appears this one won't be.......

Fast forward more than two decades and Brazilian filmmaker Jose Padilha’s first venture into English-language film is Hollywood’s revisit to Verhoeven’s classic. Looking at RoboCop (2014) from a distance, its easy to point out what fans of the original may have issues with. Among them is the film’s PG-13 rating, toning down the original’s purposeful violence and bloodshed. Yet as Padilha makes his way through modern Detroit’s Omnicorp-laden landscape, we’re given a brand new palette in which to immerse ourselves in- one that succeeds for the most part.
