Everyone's favourite perennially worried-looking alien warrior race didn't get so much as a sniff of the action last time out. Let's put that right, shall we?
Why It Might Work: Any creature that can comfortably grout a shower cubicle with its forehead deserves serious screen time.
More importantly though, the Klingon play such a pivotal role in the galactic power balance, it's hard to imagine the film series going on for much longer without them coming heavily into play.
Why It Might Not: We can't hear the word 'Klingon' without yelling "Scrape 'em off, Jim!" these days.

All very good, but Kurtzman and Orci are writing it. All drama and intelligent will be dispensed with in favour of fart gags, comedy sidekicks and slapstick. Oh and stuff exploding to stop everyone getting bored.
