TF: Final question, which isn’t really a question it’s more of a statement, but it's nice. Jimi Morgan says ‘Tell him he was my Doctor and it’s integral to my childhood that he appear in the 50th anniversary.’
So what do you have to say to Jimi Morgan about that?
SM: Jimi I’ll tell you all the actors who played the Doctor who are still alive would love to appear in the 50th. There was a group of us, I saw Tom Baker the other day, big Tom says to me ‘Well old boy, have you heard anything going?’, ‘No Tom, ow, more neck ache.'
So I think we’re all up to do it, we all want to do it, I mean I, because I’m still kind of enamored of the Doctor Who fans who made my life very jolly for such a long time.
I know they all want it. I’ve been around the world and everywhere I go it’s the same question and sadly the answer is: I have heard nothing.
They ought to bombard the producers of Doctor Who, it’s no use asking us, we’re mere pawns. You see we’re just LEGO people, they move us around, and they stick us where they want.
