3. Trainspotting (1996)

Brown sauce for breakfast. Having splatted his bed-sheets with copious arse-cocoa, junkie houseguest Spud (Ewan Bremner) scoops up the evidence and gingerly twitters his excuses in front of the breakfast table.

Mum doesn’t understand, gets shirty and tries to pull the sheets away from him. A tug of war ensues before one fi nal yank sends a volley of bum-gravy spraying across faces, hair, glasses, bacon, eggs and sausages. Did you want toast with that?
