The Graduate (1967)
What People Say: "Mrs. Robinson, are you trying to seduce me?"
What The Film Really Said: "Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me. Aren't you?"
If We’re Going To Get It Wrong, Why Not: “Hey, baby… I like the way your wattle hangs…”

Casablanca (1942)
What People Say: "Play it again, Sam."
What The Film Really Said: "You played it for her, you can play it for me. If she can stand it, I can. Play it!"
If We’re Going To Get It Wrong, Why Not: “Do you know chopsticks?”
Next: Tarzan & Snow White

I think "I love the smell of napalm in the morning" is from "Dr. Strangelove". I saw it years ago, so I don't know if it's the same kind of mis-quotation.

Actually in 'All about Eve' she does say "Fasten your seatbelts its going to be a bumpy night." Shockingly people do get this one right :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eg-ckMup6SI - youtube video of the clip

Duh! You missed the lowest hanging fruit of all: Cool Hand Luke Misqoute: What we have here is a failure to communicate! What the film actually says: What we have here is...Failure to communicate! Even though it is only one letter, it makes a big difference in the tone.
