What about under the dome??? Why's it been left out?? I personally enjoyed it and can't understand how you could not include it in this list.

This is the second list that i've seen like this to neglect Boardwalk Empire which is so carefully and beautifully made. It's a shame it doesn't get the recognition as it's telling such a huge story.

Love Hell on Wheels, Misfits continues to be top notch, Justified as well..superb acting and writing, the whole show seems hidden out of view. Middling - Sons on Anarachy, good solid drama, but just that. Letdowns of the year... Dexter deserved a better send off than a rushed last twenty minutes ..should have let him been arrested, it would have saved the show repeating itself since season 5. Marvel AOS.. hyped to the heavens, so far its just a case of *shrugs* " is that it?". Stock, generic characters of no interest, promised 'witty ' banter fizzles the moment it leaves their mouths. Firefly managed more depth and emotional resonance in the first 5 episodes.

Where's the love for Utopia? Best British show of the year. Also Southcliffe deserves some credit, especially for the first episode.

Utopia was the best thing on tv this year, bar none. Failure to include it on this list is like compiling a top 10 of films called 'Citizen Kane' and not including Citizen Kane.

Justified. season four was all kinds of brilliant. season one is a little bit Walker Texas Ranger for the Tarantino generation, but season two onwards is very good television.if you haven't gotten around to it, give yourself the xmas present of watching it.

@joshtorok17 Total agreement. For me, Breaking Bad is first, Boardwalk Empire second, and Game of Thrones third. Justified and Mad Men should be on the list also.

Nice to see that The Fall belongs to the top three :) . Strong scenario, fantastic performances and well directed by Belgian director :) Jakob Verbruggen . I can't wait to see Season 2
