Henry V? Are you kidding me? How can you watch Kenneth Branagh's impassioned, spittle-flecked and teary eyed rendering of the St. Crispian's Day speech, with Patrick Doyle's beautifully rousing score building in the background and not be moved? Branagh was one of the youngest actors to play Henry V and he plays him as a young king just finding his footing. He was also nominated for both an Oscar and a BAFTA for his role.

The Independence Day speech is worth watching (over and over) for the patriotic rush the fella in the tank is feeling. That salute gets me each and every time. First class Americanism right there. Lovely.
