Omen remake director John Moore’s videogame adap is an action movie with supernatural undertones: a neo-noir revenge thriller; Sin City with demons and designer drugs. It’s also Mark Wahlberg’s first big potential for an action franchise and just maybe the first game-movie to cross over and feel like a proper film.

But despite the source inspiration being dark and adult, rumours persist the film’s a PG. Will that neuter it or offer a refreshing new take? That is: the new Bourne or just another Hitman?
