    good list i think the scene from equilibrium once the doors down blow the lights is super cool also the when he flips the shotguns round that the goon are holding and blows there faces off those scenes are covered in awesome sauce

    Ummm. Where is Indiana Jones refusing to play ball, as it were, with his massive, scimitar wielding opponent in Raiders? Or for that matter Greedo getting his, in cold blood George, under the Cantina table? Yup, Harrison Ford. Never cooler than when behaving in an underhanded fashion with firearms.

    I wish i known about this voting...Its a pity the list doesnt go back further than 1972, I would of voted for the car chase in The French Connection, (better than Bullitt cos it was done for real, baby and all!) The final scene in The Searchers Ethan Edwards being shut out of his family, Jaws (i know its 1975) Quints monolgue about the SS Indianapolis scene, 2001 bone-to-spaceship cutaway, "Bond, james bond" many more...

    Its got to be the strobe-lit shoot-out in Kick a*s! A highlight in a movie littered with highlights!

    The 'There will be blood' scene is not exactly cool. It's pretty terrifying to be honest. Lobby scene in Matrix is an absolute must... Happy Gilmore's first hole in one..."I ain't got time to bleed", the scene in 28 Days Later when Jim enters the house to the sounds of that wicked 'In A Heartbeat' tune, Jack Sparrows entrance in the first Pirates, "what I love about high school girls is, I keep getting older, but they just stay the same age..." any scene involving Al Pacino in Scarface, the Golden Gun and finally when Sean Connery answers 'Bond, James Bond'... surely the coolest line ever?!

    Not the best list I've seen. Frankly any 'cool' list that misses out the Evil Dead 2/Ash/"Groovy" moment really needs to reappraise it's self.

    Awesome list but forgetting SW EP1 where the theed palace hangar doors slide open to reveal Maul and then, if that wasn't already enough, double-bladed lightsaber!! Also the Matrix - choose any of up to ten scenes - "How about I give you the finger..." "Guns, lots of guns...". BUT most crucially - and by far one of the coolest moments in cinematic history - is the beginning of the prison breakout from Natural Born Killers with 'Bombtrack' blaring out.

    You have some great stuff here, but I have some bad news. Any list of "coolest" movie moments that includes something from Con Air immediately loses all credibility.

    How come sin city is not on this list everything about that film was cool and whatabout Rorschach in Watchmen killing that midget in prison the way that scence was shot was amazingly awesome

    SOME OF THE CHOICES SEEM A LITTLE PECULIAR.. HOW DOES THE DIE HARD 'MACHINE GUN' QUOTE MAKE IT.. OVER THE FIRST TIME HE SAYS... 'YIPPEE KAY-YAY M@&(£ F£@&@..... MAKES NO SENSE... THE JOKER SCENE IS PURE MAGIC, BUT THE COOLEST MOMENT IN TIME,, I DONT KNOW ABOUT THAT :/ JUST CAUSE ITS THE MOST RECENT DOESNT MAKE IT THE COOLEST. OUT OF THE THE FILMS LISTED, IN MY OPINION, I WOULD SAY TEH KAISER SOZE MOMENT WOULD HAVE TO BE MY NUMBER 1. ITS ONE OF THE BEST PLOT TWISTS OF ALL TIME AND THE CHANGE OF HIS WALK JUST EPITOMIZES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HIS IDIOT ROLE HE PLAYS AND THEN THE MASTERMIND OF KAISER SOZE HIMSELF. SCENES THAT SHOULD HAVE MADE THIS LIST : 1_) THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS... THE TRAIN JUMP SCENE IN THE MUSTANG... SURELY THATS A 'COOL' SCENE. 2-)BAD BOYS II.. THE CHASE SCENE WITH THE FERRARI... THE SPIN WITH THE GUNFIRE IS JUST COOL.. AND WILL SMITH SHOULD BE ON THIS LIST.... EITHER THIS OR THE INDEPENDENCE DAY SCENE WHERE THEY ARE TRAPPED IN THE SPACECRAFT AND THEN SAY GOODBYE TO THE ALIENS WITH THE SIMPLE PHRASE.. 'PEACE' ! JUST TWO OF MANY.. I HAVE MORE IF YOU NEED AHA !
