Never one to forge a predictable career, Ledger chose to work on this historical romp after the intense drama of Brokeback.
“I was really free of any rules, guidelines or instructions to paint a historically accurate picture of the man,” Ledger said of the role.
“I was exhausted after Brokeback and had been so wound up that I wanted to unwind. And it worked. Perfectly!”

Amazing, I love it. Howeverrr, I'm pretty sure Matilda was born in 2005, so she's 3 now, turning 4 at the end of the month.. And C should have been for Candy!

His role as skip in lords of dogtown was excellent. On the bonus features you hear the real skip talk and ledger nailed it.
