The sun rises over New York City, on just another ordinary day in Manhattan… except it’s not just another day, because all hell is about to break loose. As Nick Fury’s voice informs us, “the world has changed”. At first, it seems as though he’s addressing the audience, but as the trailer progresses, it becomes clear that Fury is briefing Captain America.
As you might recall from the end of Captain America: The First Avenger, Fury has brought Steve Rogers to present-day New York in order to face his biggest challenge to date. “Trying to get me back in the world?” quipped Cap at the end of that film. “Trying to save it,” replied Fury.

The bad guys look more like the Ice Giants from Thor to me and not the Skrulls. Probably wrong though so let the onslaught commence

Still not sure how i feel about the Skrulls being the antagonists. Never really like the idea of a load of shape-shifting bad guys who can copy peoples poweres, even in the comics. But, the trailer still rocks. Can't wait for this film to come out.

Thor can fly under his own steam (Well his Hammer's, but not like he has a problem misplacing it, it'll just come back to him) Also the Aliens look like Badoon to me, who are older than the Skrulls too. Somebody also mentioned the Alpha Centurians, which is a good shout.

In the comics, the Black Widow has her Widows Bites which pack a fair punch in close combat. If you look closely at the shot with her holding her gun, you'll see devices around her wrists that could be Widows Bite weapons. So don't dismiss her 'strength' quite so quickly :)

Hahaha, you'll have to forgive @Hadouken76 ... not exactly the biggest fan of Black Widow (lol) but then, not everyone is gonna be a fan of everything :) I really hope she gets to use her wrist gauntlets though, if you watch the trailer closely there appears to be a blue pulse emitting from them as the camera pans by her, so I'm hoping she'll bring a bit more "power" to the party. And @FBNPerry, nice shout on the Badoon, I'd forgotten about those guys, you're right, there's a similarity there and they'd make just as strong villains for the team to take on as the Skrulls. I guess fans just want it to be the Skrulls because of the lengthy history that race has with The Avengers, the recent Secret Invasion and of course the whole Skrull/Kree war which could see Captain Marvel introduced in later sequels. Until we see the film though or a trailer that shows them better it's all rumour and conjecture ... God April 27th can't come fast enough!!!!
