It’s the curse of many a Hollywood kid, and Haim didn’t escape it either, enrolling to play the offspring of a certain Sally Field (how many movie kids has she had now? We’ve lost count).
Martin Ritt directed this five years before his death. It’s the story of a 33-year-old divorced mother who moves to rural Arizona to train horses. Things get confusing when she falls for an older man just when her ex-hubbie wants to move back in with 12-year-old son Jake (Haim).

Ummmm...I think he was in another flick, Lucas, which should be considered more "essential" than a few on the list.

Essential Corey Haim films..!? Seriously? If it wasn't for The Lost Boys...and that other one, no one would be any the wiser.
