I am not a fan of Star Trek, but hopefully with JJ Abrams directing we'll have a good film on our hands. Zach Quinto as Spock is inspired and it looks like Bana could be an excellent villain. However, how much excitement can you get from a bunch of characters you know can't die (because they're in films where they are older)? I'll keep my fingers crossed.

you know i am gonna go see this, despite makng it a prequal seems pointless, Karl Urban looks the business though, but there just seems to be a slight element of wrong about it, i shant judge it untill ive seen it but everyone other than spock and mccoy seem to be just wrong

Everyone looks spot on (Zachary Quinto especially), Bana looks like he could be a great villain, the little bit of the bridge that you can see looks great. I'm really looking forward to it, with Abrams, Kurtzman and Orci working on it it could be amazing
