As if the bazillion dollar box office for the Pirates Of The Caribbean series wasn’t enough proof, you have voted Depp’s drunken, piratical creation Captain Jack the best movie character of all time.
The clicks have been counted and Captain Jack just edged out both Darth Vader and James Bond... quite a feat for a bloke who only appeared on our screens in 2003.
Is the choice apt or outrageous? Well, I can’t quite believe Tyler Durden only placed at number 13, but lists are to be debated, dissected and, um, argued about – so check out the full 100 over the next few pages and let us, and the world, know what you think on the forums.
Oh and don’t forget to pick up the Top 100 Movie Characters Of All Time special edition in shops now – 226 pages of outstanding film writing and pretty pictures for a meagre £9.99. Plug over: get debating...
Cheers,
