Between them, this lot made damn sure that our tear ducts were wept dry, while our eyes and hearts were left raw and heavy from all the sobbing. Rape, death, renegade husbands... Our lives look like a bed of roses compared to these.

      What about Ups Russel for Best Ankle-Biter? Sure he starts off moaning but by the climax Russel has proved to be as good a hero as any of the nominated kids.

      This was a great film. And it was directed by Duncan Jones, not James. I have a feeling people won't be making that mistake for much longer. Very promising debut.
