The irony of Erin Brockovich was that she proved just as dodgy and money-grubbing as the companies she was attacking. After ignoring the calls of the townsfolk wondering where their money had gone, it ended up taking 6 months for them receive what should have been a $333m payout. By then, Brockovisch's law firm had taken a out $133m plus $10m expenses fat slice for themselves, plus a third of the cancer kids' settlement.

What about Pom Poko (The Rac**n Wars)? Definitely the best environment based Japanese animation out there (after Princess Mononoke, obviously)

Hmm. Waterworld was amusing, but even if every piece of ice on the planet melted, sea level would rise some 220 feet. Where did all the rest of the water come from? You know, the water needed to cover mountains 20,000 to 30,000 feet tall.
