Need a dose of filthy humour? For A Good Time, Call… is the film for you. A raucous comedy from debut director Jamie Travis, it’s every bit as flirty and hilarious as the best sex comedies out there.
Lauren Miller (50/50, Superbad) wrote the film’s script and stars as, uh, Lauren, an uptight twentysomething who has nowhere to live when her boring relationship ends.
When she finds a fabulous new apartment there’s only one catch – she’d be sharing with her sworn college enemy Katie (Ari Graynor).
Worse still, Lauren discovers that Katie makes money working for a phone sex chatline. But with Lauren’s brains and Katie’s penchant for dirty talk, the pair could make a fortune – if they could just figure out how to work together.
One of our favourite comedies at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, For A Good Time is an outrageous cackler that’s as broad as they come.
For A Good Time, Call... opens in cinemas on 2 November 2012. Will you be watching? Tell us below.
